The ultimate facial mist...

I’m in love…

Yes, this time there’s no turning back. :)

I’ve found the perfect facial mist in Shu Uemura’s Deepsea water. It is the best of the best when it comes to facial mist I tell ya.

Trust me, if you’re feeling tired, and your face is feeling a tad bit dehydrated, it’s time for you to spray the deepsea water all over your face for that instant burst of freshness.

So what’s the big deal about this deepsea water you ask?
Well, Mr Uemura believes that water found in the deepest part of the sea (at 320m below sea level), where it is naturally stable, purified and enriched with vital minerals and is good for the skin because of the purity of the substance.

We have Mr Uemura to thank when he discovered the pumping of deep-sea water in Cape Muroto, Japan. Upon touching the water, he was in awed by how gentle, soft and moisturizing the water felt on the skin. He immediately understood the implications it could have in a cosmetic formulation. And hence, the birth of the deepsea water line in his skincare and makeup products. Amen! Amen! Amen!

Okie, back to the facial mist. :P

The end product of this great discovery is a facial mist that is absorbed almost immediately into the skin to deliver instant hydration anytime your skin feels dry. It helps set makeup too. Isn't this fantastic? ;)

Available in various scents like sage, lavender, rose, camomile, mint and rosemary, there is something for every skin (and nose :P. Yes, my nose tends to get flaky whenever I travel and it's damn annoying).

Camomile: comforting & serene
Myrtle flower: A scent of Mediterranean breeze. Energizing and uplifting.
Bergamot: uplifting & sweet
Fragrance Free: water from the depths of the sea in its natural state
Hamamelis: floral & soothing
Lavender: tranquil & balancing
Mint: clean & refreshing
Rose: sweet & gentle
Rosemary: energizing & invigorating
Sage: fresh & stimulating

I bought the camomile mist as the makeup consultant advised that this scent suits my skin and will enhance hydration. Now, I’m not going anywhere without my deepsea water mist. ;)

A 150ml costs RM80. What more can a girl ask for? Go get your favourite scent now ;)
As for guys, you can either get the one that's fragrance free or get the minty scent. Most guys opt for these 2.

“Just as we thirst for water, so too does the skin yearn for its thirst to be quenched. Spare nothing taking care of it. Give it the purest, most luscious water”- Shu Uemura

Jazz is 20 mths old...

[email from Tiffany]

Hi woman,

How are you doing? You seemed quite busy of late and to brighten your day, I'm sending some pretty pictures of Jazzlyn over to you. Cheer up darling!

For your information, your kailui Jazz is 20 mths old already. :)

Ian and I bought her a cake just to celebrate and have some fun. And boy, did she have a blast singing songs and blowing the candle. So proud of her that she can now blow the candle (plus maybe sprinkle a little of her saliva here and there on the cake). :0

A few months back, I brought her to the hairdresser to have her very first hair cut. She didn't like her hair being cut and all. I had to do some major coaxing and in the end, the results was pretty good.

Bought her a Chinese samfu set for CNY.

Her favorite song is 'Somewhere over the rainbow' at the moment and she can sing this song too. I'm glad you've received the CD we recorded for you and that you enjoyed watching Jazz's singing as well as doing all kinds of funny acrobatic/yoga moves.

Oh, she really sings well, doesn't she?

Yes woman, I thought of you the minute I saw that pink tub of SugarBaby body butter and I just had to get it for you. Glad that you like it. ;)

We've sent this video of Jazz laughing for a talent audition... It was really hard trying to make her to laugh so heartily, but it was really worth the effort.

This girl is getting more and more expressive. Whenever Ian farts, she will squeeze her lil nose and wiggle her little fingers - telling her daddy

it stinks in here! LOL!

I haven't been taking her photos lately as the camera is a lil wonky. And she is still quite camera shy. *sigh*

Oh, we went to Pines shopping centre the other day to get Jazz two boxes of Crayola non-toxic paints. And that day happened to be the day where they have a One Day Sale on. Lucky us!

All the outlets were decorated with balloons. I was lucky enough cos I managed to grab back heaps of balloons for Jazz. You should have seen how her eyes!! She had those sparkles and her eyes were saying 'bur-loon bur-loon'.

I need to go soon - gotta take this opportunity to do some house work while Jazz is sleeping, which as you know isn't for long.

By the way, I bought you a colourful dog printed rubber floor mat, but it's a little heavy for my friend to bring back so I'll pass it over to you next trip la.

Oh..one more thing, Jazz looks super lovely in the jeans skirt you got her from Bangkok. Only thing is her stomach is too round that I can't zip it up properly :P. Thank God I could still tie the ribbon and cover the expose hip with her top. hehe..

With love,
Tiffany n Jazz

Sex and the City Premiere

I am so so looking forward to watching Sex and the City: The Movie.

Oooh, I just can't wait.

The highly anticipated Sex and the City film has made its world debut in London, with hundreds of fans packing Leicester Square for a glimpse of the show's stars.

I too, wished I could be there.

Many New Yorkers were surprised over the decision to show the premiere of the eagerly awaited film in London, instead of the city in which it is set.

Following the London premiere, the film heads to Berlin on May 15 before finally showing in New York on May 27.

Here are some pictures from the SATC London premiere..

SJP, my fave fashion icon, wore a garden-inspired Philip Treacy hat. Gotta give her the thumbs up as only she can carry off such a sartorically challenge headpiece.

SJP kinda reminds me of a cute garden nymph in this ensemble.

These ladies brought a large dose of Manhattan glamour to London.

My fave character? Charlotte.

Cos I'm a hopeless romantic like her too.

Ooh, i love them all.

The girls were thrilled to be in London, and very much excited to building up the anticipation to the New York premiere which is enormous and happens just before the film opens worldwide.

The sex siren Kim Cattrall, in Vivienne Westwood, stopping to sign a few autographs for her male admirers.

Now, let's have a look at the New York City premiere...

2 words : can't wait...

Cindy's baby shower

Today is one of the happiest weekends I've had in weeks.

aahh..such bliss..

It's been ages since I last spent some quality time with my gal friends.

Today, I attended my 1st ever baby shower.

Yi Hwa (bless that girl), Cindy's ex-colleague cum close pal organised a baby shower for her.

She organised our lil gathering at Cupcake Chic, The Curve. As a cupcake lover myself, i thought it was a swell idea :)

Cindy is due to give birth in August and we're throwing her a baby shower to present her with some basic baby necessities for her first birth.

Yi Hwa (standing, far left) checking on our order.

Sitting on this side of the table are Cindy's family - her mum and 2 cousins.

Us girls :)

Cheemuis for life.

There were 3 preggers in the midst of us.

Michelle (4 mths+), Sandra (popping next week), Cindy (7 mths).

All hot mamas!

I have to say we over indulged in cupcakes...I'm quite jelak by now.

Poppy seed + banana, Coffee

Top: Vanilla
Bottom: Caramel toffee?

Lavender, Pistachio (i had this one cos it's pink and pretty :P)

Sinful chocs!

Time to check out our gifts!

Cindy trying out the infra red thermometer. Yi Hwa was like a human instruction manual, explaining the 'how to operate' step-by-step to us.

What's the optimum temp again?

The baby monitor was one of the top-of-the-list items. We got her a Lindam Baby Talk.

Besides sharing the gift, the 3 of us cheemuis got Cindy some very cute baby rompers from Japan.

Men got it from her last visit to Japan. So cool eh...

There are 7 pieces in the set. We're thinking a whole week supply of clothes.. Wee..

Woman, we hope we've covered the bare necessities you'll need ya. :)

Thanks for organising this again Yi Hwa, you're the best darl!

Heaps of cutesy stuff here, for instance this colourful crib set. I wouldn't mind a quilt cover set in this design, honestly. :P

Someone got this for Cindy from UK.

Isn't this cool? A box each to store the baby's first tooth and 1st lock of hair.

Can you guess if she's giving birth to a baby gal or boy?

~*~*~*Carmen's new pad*~*~*~

After the party, we left to chill at Carmen's new pad. She's moved into her new place in Riana Green for a month now and I have not visited her yet.

We cheemuis have not been able to meet up for eons. In fact, my birthday celebration (we actually planned to celebrate mid May - which is a month after my birthday) will be postponed indefinitely cos some of us are high flyers :P. (That, I'm not talking about me :P)

We had dinner at Arisu, this Korean restaurant in Riana Green.

Men, Mon and I.

Among the 3 of us, we had quite A LOT of food.

BBQ spare ribs (Bul gal bi)

Bulgogi beef

Steamed egg dish

Seafood pancake

Yup, we whacked the whole lot...

...and as if that wasn't enough..

We ordered another BBQ chicken dish..

i need to diet tomorrow. most definitely..
