So You Think You Can Act???

Last year, i participated in a dance competition during our Annual Dinner. The event was aptly themed "Boogie Nite" and we were all performing in the "Shall We Dance" competition. [view it here: Let's boogie, Boogie-ing the nite away, Thunderbutt sistas, and More pictures of boogie nite]

I remember very well lamenting to my other team members, "I can't believe this. Last year, i was on stage cos i was nominated for Best Dressed for Masquerade [view here: Ze Masquerade Ball 1, Ze Masquerade Ball 2, Ze Mask, Ze Manicure, Ze Costume Hunt] and since knowing that I was going to be on stage, i didn't really eat much. As for this year, we're performing. And since we're the last group to perform, I don't dare eat cos i'm afraid i can't dance later."

"Next year, i definitely DO NOT wanna be involved. I just wanna attend the dinner and eat to my hearts content".

And...guess what??

I somehow got involved in the performance again for this year's annual dinner and dance.

The theme for this year is T*ylor'sWood. Which means, we dress up as our favourite Hollywood star.

As for the performance, it's gonna be 'acting' instead of 'dancing'. It's called "So You Think You Can Act???"

So, what am i acting as?

Hehe, i'd love to spill..but i can't cos the other groups might find out through my blog. :P

We've started our practice since last Tuesday and things are looking pretty good. It would have been great if we could have started practising earlier but we couldn't cos of the long Raya hols and some of our colleagues had classes till late on certain days.

Nonetheless, it's about having fun right?!

Fingers crossed that we'll get to win la.

Nope, we're not acting out scenes from Ocean's 11. It's just that there are 11 of us..and we thought this is pretty good. :)

Btw, the big day is this Friday ;)
