Masquerade!

Paper faces on parade . . .

Masquerade!

Hide your face, so the world will never find you!

**********

Was told that this year's theme for our annual dinner is none other than "Masquerade". SO imagine my excitement when i was told this news, woohoOooo... can dress up =). drama drama a bit! LOL!

The annual committee have actually sourced out like 5 places around Klang Valley which provide costume rental.

Over the weekend, i decided to check one out with my sis, Claudine. We went to Century Fiesta in Desa Sri Hartamas.

To our surprise the place was packed to the brim with ppl. Lots of ppl were renting costumes for the coming Halloween Party, company annual dinner, etc.

It really potong-ed my steam having to wait my turn to browse their one and only catalog and not forgetting the long queue for the fitting room.

To my disappointment, most of the costumes were too huge for me. So i only managed to try like 3-4 pieces. Most of which i had to pin to tighten, to look more decent and presentable.

Arabian night...

Me in my Egyptian costume with the snake headpiece. The top was way too big, even with a pin. I had to use one hand to hold it together to keep it from falling off. Definitely a NO NO!

I like this Roman toga dress. Quite sweet.

Seeing that so many ppl were trying out Halloween costumes, i borrowed their props..Donned on the witch hat and the broom. hehe..

Enough of costumes....Time to check out some masks.

Gosh, was i spoilt for choices or what?

i like this white feathery mask trimmed with lace.

Nice hor? i have actually bought one from another supplier. Will be getting it next week. Can't wait. =)

Sis looks good as a catwoman! Miaow!!

Sigh, i'll need to go costume hunting again... But then, i think that's the best and most fun part of it la.

Masquerade!
