16.09.2006 was a day to celebrate.

Over the years, we all have had our fair share of ups and downs and it is because of this fact that we wanna celebrate.We sure had many occassions to toast to..

Our celebration was held at the Selangor room in Shang hotel, Kl.

balloons and flowers galore. Balloons are so ol skool. :D . Still ranks no.1 in "party must-have" list.

First and foremost our friendly hosts: Jean (Carmen's grandma), Catherine (Carmen's mum), and Bunny (Carmen's dad) would like to celebrate the fact that they are well loved by so many friends here in Malaysia. This celebration is a gesture to thank all their lovely friends for their love and support.

*Fact, there were so many MAS and AirAsia crew (friends of Bunny, who used to be Captain for MAS) present in the function room that no one minded when the party started an hour later..these pilots know what the word delay really means.

We celebrated the fact that we are 28 and FABULOUS!!!!!

Great food was another reason to celebrate! Just look at the assortment of food spread out for us. *drool drool*

yaya, i know it looks pretty gross. I took sponge finger, strawberries, wafer and love letters to go with the choc (you probably can't figure out which is which..)

everyone loves sausages, and we sure had sausages aplenty that night!

Sushi..my favourite! Oishi desu ne! Moo ichido kudasai

We even had a tempura bar. :) i helped myself to many servings of the tempura prawn and pumpkin. Yummm..

i confess that i am a dessert junkie..i live for sweets!

local Msian delights: kerabu,rojak, pisang goreng, pulut durian, ais kacang. All so very irresistible!

these desserts are absolutely worth every single calorie that i had to work off at the gym. i am so not complaining. Clockwise l-r: greentea souffle, cappucino caramel shots, strawberry cheesecake, choc mousse, and a small piece of gooseberry ( i damn lurrve gooseberries!)

you would have figured by now that i love flowers of any kind. flowers are so pretty. so pls send me some on my birthday..or better, any day is a good day!
