Feeling like major crab feast~
Right next to Tak Fok, is Restoran Mei Chixuan (it's almost twice as big as Tak Fok). There is hardly a crowd nor a queue here. However, they do have some customers, from the spill-over from Tak Fok.
One thing i like about Tak Fok is that even though it's always packed to the brim with customers, they are always quite fast in serving us our food. The first crab dish came at about 9pm.
At 9pm, the queue was still as long as ever. it just never stops..
This is my fave dish.. Crab with ham-dan (salted egg)..It's da bomb people! This is a must-have here!
Next, we had cheesy crab..
These fried man-tous (chinese flour bun) are fantastic with the cream cheese sauce from the crab.
Just dip and dip and dip away!! The crunchy man-tous are too damn good!
This is another kickass dish: Kung po style 'lai liu har' (bugs).
Steamed mussels with sweet sour assam sauce. Very appetising!
Another Tak Fok specialty: their house Foo Chow tou-fu.
It's damn smooth...Fried on the outside, soft and smooth inside..Topped with minced meat and spring onions! Heavenly!
The 5 of us whacked everything on the table...Haha, feeling a tinge of guilt here as i havent been goin to the gym at all! :P
After dinner, we adjourned to Cindy's house. We were all eager to check out her new love nest.
Also, we were itching for a night of non-stop mahjong! kekeke
The gals gave me these for Christmas...
Received this comfy La Senza lingerie set from Cindy.
Mon gave me this baby blue Nike bottle for gym.
Men gave me a Lilian Too book for those borned in the year of the horse (now you know how old i am!). And a cute pair of earrings!
i think this pair of earring is pretty cute: a diamante stilletto and a Anna Sui inspired handbag. Kawai-ness!
Love you gals!
XOXO
