Quest for pan mee continues...
It's a saturday and I'm working today. Really pathetic.
Didnt know wat to eat la okie. And since i had pan mee from Kota Kemuning last night, I thought it'd be nice to taste aunty's pan mee again. Just for comparison sake.
Went for lunch with Daniel cos he's also working today and he insisted that the pan mee at Pandan Indah is da bomb. So i asked him to try aunty's pan mee with me.
Now aunty's stall is at Restoran Yew Sing, SS15 (the row behind Secret Recipe), Subang. The picture below shows the kopi tiam from the back entrance.
This is just your typical kopi tiam, dun expect anything fancy here. But so far, my colleagues like the food here.
The wantan mee, chicken rice, and pork porridge are much better than the others around this area. Yeah, quite sad when it comes to lunch. I always have a problem thinking of where to eat. Dats why i always end up eating aunty's pan mee.
I asked aunty to pose for me. She was kinda shy at first.
Notice how she's trying to smile for the camera. So sweet.
I told her i still like her pan mee most. Made her so happy.
You know, i'm such a regular until she gives me Mandarin oranges for CNY.
On a normal working day, i usually have to wait around 30 mins for her pan mee. Yeah, no kidding.
This is because she cooks every bowl individually. This is one of the reasons why her pan mee is soooOoo good.
Today my pan mee arrived within 10 mins, so happy
How to enjoy pan mee:
1st: squeeze the lime juice into the sambal belacan.
2nd: add fried ikan bilis into the soup.
3rd: pick up your chopsticks and dig in. enjoy!
MmMm.. i love my pan mee shredded into pieces like this and not noodle style.
Daniel's weird way of eating pan mee:
toss all the sambal belacan sauce into the soup. -_-
My verdict: aunty's pan mee is still da bomb la!

hey gurl.. i've also been to the mee papan shop at kota kemuning..nice but nothing much to shout about la..nothing compared to traditional ones...somehow it tastes better...
tell u a secret..im a bigggg fan of pan mee as well..as u put it..not boring though eat it everyday!
tell u wat, u shd try the way daniel eats it...if u like spicy la...coz i love chilly so much..i normally do the same like daniel plus ask aunty for another plate of sambal...yummmmmmyyyyyyyyy!!!!!

there's one superb one near bukit bintang area (behind hsbc) but not sure whether it's still there or not la
