I wore the off shoulder gypsy dress to the fashion gala @ the Curve last night.

Managed to get some invis for my cheemuis and Kel.

I'm sure you're more anxious to view the pictures from the event than to hear me blah. :p

So here goes..

Mon, Men, Me. Cindy's having a meeting with a client, afterwhich she'll join us.

Caryn was busy working. She was at the registration counter most of the time. Thanks to her we've got our invis.

Finally managed to capture a shot with her.

i love events like this. Free food, free wine, a chance to view the latest fashion on the runway. What more can a girl ask for?

The event kick-started with a opening where the street hip hop dancers did their thang!

Followed by another street jazz dance (?)

i like this pink dress. So ala Audrey Hepburn =)

See that guy in white holding a camera on the right of the male model? That's Ken. They've got really good seats. While we had to stand the whole of the event cos we didnt get one of those sit down coffee tables. We got the standing ones. :P

Finally it was time for the runway to start... =)

Radhi from Old Automatic Garbage (OAG) did the opening act and he was escorted by 2 tall models, which made him look really short n tiny. LOL

It sorta reminds me of this Victoria Secret fashion show video where super-gorgeously-cute Justin Timberlake was singing "Sexy back" and he was surrounded by models who were strutting in and out of the runway in Victoria Secret's sexy lingerie *drool*.

This version here with Radhi is of cos NOWHERE NEAR as glamourous as Victoria Secret's.

Cindy joined us in time. Coming up was the 1st round of lucky draw.

When Serena C (yes, she was the host for the night) said, "Okay, we're down to our last prize. No, I mean second last prize.." I was like, "Okay, call out my name please! Carrie Tang"..

Hehe..next thing i knew, she announced, "Carrie Tang, from XXXX".

Oh my, what a surprise. Whoopee!

And guess who won the last prize? It was Mon! My sis, Caryn (the girl in black top) was the tray girl.

She won RM100 voucher from Nichii Fashion City, and i won RM150 worth of Body Shop products. We were thrilled! Shiok!

2 out of 4 aint bad at all! We were hoping that Carmen and Cindy might win the next round. But they didnt la.

Kids dancing to hip hop, coyote dance, street jam, etc.

The next show was to parade the clothings from Mickey.

Amber Chia did the opening for the walk. She was twirling like a figurine on the platform, kinda like a figurine in a musical box.

Amber was wearing a huge white mickey mouse earpiece, a white mickey baby tee, and a long tutu.

After the show, Cindy, Phoon (Cindy's colleague) Mon, Kel, and i went for drinks.

Reached home at about 12am. But i had trouble falling asleep. I slept at 4am. Darn! And i had to work at 9am today.

I have no idea why my mind was so active last night. Was it the alcohol? White wine + red wine + beer = ?

Doll said it could be the mixture of the drinks altogether.

But alcohol normally induces sleep for me.

i think i'm gonna steer clear of alcohol for a while. :P

These are the stuffs i got from last night.

Complimentary manicure session from Imedeen, RM50 voucher for Imedeen products, Adidas shoe laces, Schwarzkopf color save shampoo (one only actually, i pinched one from Kel :P), 2 pairs of earrings from PU3 (again, i took one from Kel), a floral brooch from Elementz, a mickey mouse key chain and strap, and various facial and hair styling vouchers.

We girls will be planning a manicure session soon.
