Pavilion KL - a shopper's haven

Sorry guys I know I promised to blog about my lil shopping trip with Mich after the bridal shoot.

So here goes.

When I stepped inside the Pavilion KL, I couldn't help thinking, "oh wow, finally Malaysia has a top- notch luxury mall to shout about! Talk about redefining shopping experience in Malaysia!!!". We were impressed!

I love how this place's been so carefully designed.
The large airy premises framed with high ceilings and wide corridor pavements make shopping here such a relaxing, pleasurable, luxurious experience. One word:
excellent!

And for the claustrophobics, you can now go shopping! I promise it would be a different experience.

Shopaholics rejoice!!!

Determined not to be distracted by the likes of Marc Jacobs, Kiehl's, and other first timers to Msia, Mich and I headed to the directory to look for cafes and restaurants. It was already 3:30pm and we were famished.

On the list we saw La Bodega's deli, Dragon-i, Madam Kwan's, Sakae Sushi, and heaps of other eateries.

Without wasting any time at all (the earlier we finished our lunch, the earlier we could start shopping mentality :P), we headed down towards the first floor.

The decor and concept of Madam Kwan's look a lil different as compared to her other outlets. However, we weren't interested to go in cos there wasn't any patrons inside at all.

As La Bodega and Dragon-i were still not opened for business yet, we settled for Ichiban Boshi - this new japanese chain in town.

Besides taking all the nigiri from the sushi train, we ordered a large bowl of ramen to share.

Mich busy flipping through the menu.

This place was bustling with patrons. Now, this tells you how much we Msians love sushi.

Oh ya, this place boasts a long and intricate sushi train.

Egg tamago maki, Egg/potato mayo maki (yummm), mixed chilli tuna with fried tempura seaweed roll (fannnntastic!), half cooked salmon sushi with cheese topping.

As soon as we were done with lunch, we headed straight to the shops.

First stop was : Promod, one of France's biggest fashion store chains.

Mich bought this Dungaree for RM199. She looks HOt in it!

She later returned to buy a red dress in this print.

I spotted this cowl neck top and fell in love with it.

Later, I saw the same top in print. Got a lil confused cos I like both. Which one do you prefer?

Another one of my faves ;)

Perfect for work. :)

Something that I'm tempted to buy, but KIV-ed.

Next stop was actually Levi's. Then we noticed this hip looking Giordano concepts store. The clothings on display look really good. I like this black vest on the mannequin.

We then checked out Topshop. I love this new Topshop. This 2-storey outlet kinda reminded me of the multi-level Topshop in Oxford Circus.

Unfortunately, I didn't spot anything i really like here. Maybe it was due to the fact that I was feeling fatigue from my prolonged period, i felt bloated and wasn't in the mood to look-see look-see.

I did however, fell in love with this red backless number. Really, the photo doesn't do this beautiful dress justice.

Other shops to note: Guess first footwear store in Malaysia (heaps of beautiful shoes available, and the shop layout is impressive), 3-storey Esprit, Mango, Sincere watch boutique, Kiehl's (of cos).

ahh..shopping here is a bliss

I shall return to shop in full force, I promise!
